Govt. Graduate College (W) Depalpur was established in 1987 as an Inter College. The college was up-graded from Inter to Degree level on 01-09-1989 and Graduate level in 2024.
The college worked in city building from 1987 to 2020 and shifted to newly constructed building at Haveli Lakha Road Depalpur in 2021.
The college has an area of 40 kanals Main Building, College Library, Admin Block, Bachelor Hostel, Principal Residence , Beautiful Play grounds and Lawns. and 01 Daewoo Bus is available for students,
College has 15 Class Rooms, 04 Labs and 07 Offices including Principal Office. Sanctioned Strength of Teaching Staff is 19 (03 Associate Professors, 04 Assistant Professors, 10 Lecturers (01 Principal, 01 Librarian), and Non-Teaching Staff is 22.
Enrolment of the College during Academic Session 2024-2025 was 629. Education at Intermediate Level in F.A, F.Sc.I.C.S. and ADP Level. Classes of BS will started in next session.
